Green "Food" Tips
  • Take care of yourself! Eat well
You are part of the environment too! The most important thing for your overall well-being is a healthy, balanced nutritional diet. Control the amount of fat and sugars you eat, get more vegetables and fruit, and drink sufficient water.
  • Eat fresh food
It is better than processed food because it contains more vitamins.
  • Eat what’s in season
  • Buy organic! It is healthy, safe and tastes great!
  • Avoid exotic wild life such as shark fin. Did you know 90% of sharks could disappear in our lifetime just because of human consumption? Additionally, sharks are top predators, so heavy metals are accumulated in their body, making eating shark fin hazardous to your health.
  • Avoid genetically modified (GM) food as long as its full impact is unknown
The GM food debate is controversial, and, in spite of ongoing research, the effects of GM food are not yet fully known. Why take the chance when there are healthy options that have been eaten for centuries?
  • Avoid wasting food; buy and make only what you need.
