for Eco-tourism

What is Eco-tourism?
Eco-tourism is responsible travel that respects natural areas, conserves natural resources and biodiversity, and improves the well-being of local people.

Lhasa Valley
The Lhasa River is a seasonal river that is fed by the Mila Snow Mountain and flows into Brahmaputra at the southern edge of Nansa River. There are many Tibetan villages along the 500km-long river valley, and this is the most prosperous farming area in Tibet.

Many Liuwu Ancient Tombs were discovered in Lhasa Valley, proving that this was the place where Tibetans lived and developed a farming civilization during the Neolithic age. This archaeological discovery also proves that the rich Lhasa Valley was, as it is today, the core of plateau civilization. For those who want to understand and experience ancient plateau culture and the Tibetan people, Lhasa Valley is a great eco-tourism destination.
